Small and large chamber ensembles may perform throughout the school year at different events:

• Nursing home concerts at the holidays

• NJMTA Performathon in the winter

• Annual chamber ensemble concert (early spring)

• School Concerts as scheduled

• Other community concerts as scheduled

These ensembles are open to youth and adult students of all levels.  In addition, the newly-formed Flutopia Ensemble is an advanced level adult group made up of professional flutists, music educators and serious adult amateur flute enthusiasts.  Rehearsals are held bi-weekly throughout the year on Sunday evenings.   

 

Membership in all ensembles is open to all flutists who are willing to commit to scheduled rehearsals, concerts and home practice.  The number of groups is dependent on enrollment, and groups may be combined at any time.
